The Riverside High School Athletic Booster Club is committed to providing student-athletes at Riverside High School the very best facilities, equipment, protection and opportunities. We raise funds for uniforms, training equipment and team support.
Our coupon book fundraiser is underway. The books cost $25 and include many coupons for area stores and restaurants – it is simple to get your $25 and more back in savings.
In case you are wondering how to get a book to buy (or a few to sell), the following people have books:
M Basketball – Brian Strickland
Cross Country – Patty McAdams
Field Hockey – Beth Whithaus
Football – Tiwana Adams
Soccer – Jose Santibanez
Tennis – Kirsten Berlin
Volleyball – Karen Van Horn
Alicia Jones (W Basketball) and Brandon Palmer (Wrestling) will also have books as soon as I connect with them.
I would like to thank all of them for helping to coordinate our fundraiser and I hope you will as well. Players or parents for many of the teams listed also have books that they would like to sell to you.
Already this year, we have purchased new goals for the Field Hockey team, the Hudl.com video management software that is available to every Riverside team and student group, the hosting fee for this website, and paid for two $500 scholarships for seniors who graduated in May.
We have potential requests pending from Volleyball, Swimming, Women's Basketball, Wrestling, Women's Soccer, Track & Field, and Golf teams, and we need your help to meet these and other needs.
Please plan to buy a GoPlaySave coupon book to help us meet these team needs. The books are $25 and contain thousands of dollars in potential savings, including Kroger ($20), Pizza Inn ($33), Dick's Sporting Goods ($40), PDQ ($13), Pomodoro, and many others. A full list of merchants may be found here.
If you can help to coordinate sales for a team, please go here to sign up. This involves distributing books and envelopes to teams and collecting money and books back from them.
We will have books for sale through many Riverside athletes and coaches through October 15.

The Riverside Track & Field team is unable to practice or compete in the High Jump or the Pole Vault events due to a lack of equipment. The original equipment from when the school was new in 1991 is no longer safe to use after 20+ years of weather, wear, & tear. Buying new equipment at $15,000+ is out of our reach budget-wise.
Coach Brown would also love to have help locating some used - but still usable - equipment. If you have contacts at Duke, UNC, NC Central, or anywhere else that may have extra High Jump or Pole Vault pads gathering dust somewhere, please let Coach Brown know - email@example.com.
The following required forms must be completed and submitted to the school prior to participation in any preseason workouts or team tryouts. A new set of forms must be completed each year. The summer is a great time to get things like sports physicals taken care of.
